This department steers the county’s financial trajectory. They manage the county’s finances, including collecting taxes and preparing the budget. Developing economic development plans and attracting investment are key responsibilities, aiming to stimulate economic growth and create jobs. They ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency in managing public funds.

Education Background:

  • MBA in Finance, University of Nairobi
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, University of Nairobi

Professional Background:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) in good standing

Skills and Expertise:

  • Financial Management and Accounting: Over 30 years of experience in financial management and accounting in both the public and private sectors.
  • Leadership and General Management: Proven leadership skills, with extensive experience in general management and governance.
  • Human Resources Management: Excellent working knowledge and experience in human resources management.
  • Procurement: Strong expertise in procurement processes and management.
  • Diverse Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in diverse environments, demonstrating adaptability and cultural competence.
