Trans Nzoia Governor Inspects Progress on Ultra-Modern County Assembly Building

Governor George Natembeya conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing construction of Trans Nzoia County's ultra-modern Assembly building.

H.E Governor George Natembeya, accompanied by Assembly Speaker Andrew Wanyonyi and Clerk CS Moses Wanjala Lupao, led a comprehensive inspection of the ongoing construction of the county’s ultra-modern Assembly building on Tuesday. The governor, visibly pleased with the progress made, commended the collaborative efforts between contractors and the Assembly’s management team, emphasizing the importance of the project in enhancing the functionality and efficiency of the county assembly.

The inspection serves as a testament to the County Government’s commitment to providing a modern and conducive work environment for assembly members and staff. Governor Natembeya reiterated the significance of the project in facilitating transparent governance and effective legislative processes.

During the tour, Governor Natembeya and his delegation visited various key areas, including the completed Matisi and Chersng’any Suwerwa ward representative offices. Additionally, the Governor inspected the construction sites of the County Speaker’s residence and the Assembly Centre building, demonstrating his hands-on approach to monitoring the development projects within the county.

Accompanying the Governor during the inspection were several Ward Representatives, including Andrew Kutitila (Sikhendu), Emily Rono (Makutano), Peter Chakali (Chepchoina), and Barbra Kisuya (Nominated). The presence of County Executive Committee members (CECs) such as Sam Ojwang (Water, Environment, Climate Change, and Natural Resources), Bonface Wanyonyi (Finance and Economic Planning), Janerose Mutama (Lands and Urban Planning), Patrick Gacheru (Trade and Industrialization), and Charles Wabwoba (County Attorney) further emphasized the collaborative effort towards project oversight and implementation. Chief of Staff Dickson Wamocho and the Governor’s Personal Assistant, Emmanuel Wamalwa, completed the delegation.

The inspection highlighted the County Government’s proactive approach to infrastructure development and its dedication to enhancing service delivery and governance standards in Trans Nzoia County.
