Hi your Excellency, I’m Butete Oscar wanyonyi from WKTRH sickle cell specialised clinic. Working with sickle cell federation of Kenya in partnership with MTRH eldoret. I have a concern on disability fund. Transnzoia sickle cell society is an organization that deals/ supports families affected by sickle cell disease across our county, as the Chief executive officer, we’re currently serving 892 families through struggles. Lack of scd drugs everywhere across the county is the main challenge, inclussivity as disability is also a challenge, lack appropriate allocation of disability funds also is a burden since 90% of form four leavers are loosing hope in their academic progress. My gratitude to your fatherly recognition upon our first World sickle cell day event. You really supported as part of recommending and value your people with a cherishable spirit. We as the organization we say thanks a million and may God’s abundance grace be with you… thank you for saving these families with painful burden. Another fact is that WKTRH is not a private facility but some staffs are personalising the facility. I’ve worked here since 2021 where I started by moving to all facilities to roll out a register for plwscd, in 2922 may I started scd specialised clinic in Transnzoia. Thereafter with MTRH and SFK we’re working on a topic strengthening specialised clinics of which through my efforts now we’ve a hb electrophoresis machine at WKTRH. Among my contributions also I united all families into an independent organization where trainings, awareness, education, mobilisation for clinics Among other issues are carried out… now as I’m speaking the Human Resource WKTRH incharge chased me out of the facility commanding me to carry away the clinic if I want and bento appear again! Even she informed the security not to allow me in . During thise time my wife who’s a sickle cell surviver had undergone C/s on delivery she commanded that I take her out immediately of which I dead but I’m likely to loose her since she’s critically sick. I can’t imagine that the reason behind us just that I approached your office for support on world sickle cell day without passing through them, also having Live talks on TV shows at citizen and ntv also kbc on sickle cell is the reason I should not work… also allowing partners to come in and train families are my faults. Kindly Help us since the families are insisting for a demonstration but I’ve denied the permission since I know the consequences.. you’re the one who really understand the pain these families are passing through kindly our eyes as transnzoia sickle cell society are on you our boss … Thanks in advance,
