Trans Nzoia County remains a leader in the implementation of the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) program, according to a preliminary report presented by a consultant to the Program Implementation Committee.
The survey conducted assessed key aspects of the program, including progress, community participation, and the inclusivity of its projects. The evaluation emphasized the following:
- Inclusivity and Representation: Committees were found to reflect diverse community demographics, considering gender, age, ability levels, and socio-economic status.
- Community Satisfaction: Feedback from both program implementers and beneficiaries highlighted a high level of satisfaction with the ongoing projects.
- Challenges and Solutions: The survey also identified potential gaps and challenges, with strategies proposed to enhance the program’s effectiveness and reach.
