The highly anticipated Governor’s Kikao Fora resumed on Thursday in Kapretwa, Saboti Ward, with an impressive turnout of residents eager to engage with county leadership on developmental issues.
Led by H.E. Governor George Natembeya, alongside Trade and Industry CECM Patrick Gacheru and a team of Chief Officers, the forum aimed to foster public participation and strengthen governance at the grassroots level.
During the event, all county departments and select national government agencies showcased their services, offering residents direct access to essential resources and information. Residents were also guided on how to effectively access government services and engage in business opportunities with the county.
“This forum provides an invaluable opportunity for residents to voice their concerns, share ideas, and understand how to benefit from government programs,” Governor Natembeya emphasized.
The interactive session highlighted the administration’s commitment to participatory governance, enabling residents to shape policies and initiatives that address their needs.
A follow-up Kikao Fora is scheduled for Friday, November 8, 2024, in Bwala, Matumbei Ward, continuing the effort to bridge the gap between the government and its people.
