On Monday morning, a delegation from the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) visited the Trans Nzoia County offices to engage in discussions on workforce and staffing matters. The team, led by Commissioner Isaac Melly, paid a courtesy call to County Secretary Truphosa Amere as part of their agenda to strengthen collaboration with the County Human Resource Management.
During the visit, the SRC delegation outlined plans to work closely with Trans Nzoia’s Human Resource department to address pressing staffing issues. The discussions aim to ensure that the county’s workforce is well-managed, with particular focus on optimizing human resources and aligning remuneration policies with national standards.
The visit is expected to yield strategies for improving workforce efficiency and address challenges related to employment terms and conditions within the county.
