Sibanga FC and Sinyereri Queens emerged as champions in the Governor's Cup 2024, showcasing exceptional talent at the Ndura Sports Complex.

In a spectacular display of skill and determination, Sibanga FC and Sinyereri Queens claimed victory in the Governor’s Cup 2024 finals held at the Ndura Sports Complex.

  • Sibanga FC clinched the men’s title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against a resilient Tuwan FC.
  • In the women’s category, Sinyereri Queens delivered a commanding performance, defeating White Ladies with an impressive 4-0 scoreline.

Awards and Recognitions

The winning teams were each awarded a cash prize of Ksh 1 million, while the runners-up—Tuwan FC and White Ladies—received Ksh 750,000. The second and third runners-up were also acknowledged with Ksh 500,000 and Ksh 250,000, respectively.


Governor Natembeya: A Champion for Sports

Governor George Natembeya, who presided over the event, lauded the players for their dedication and the electrifying matches:
