Trans Nzoia County is set to benefit from a KES 352 million investment grant under the Kenya Devolution Support Programme (KDSP 2).
✅ Why is Trans Nzoia Qualifying?
An assessment on the utilization of a previous KES 37.5 million institutional strengthening grant was conducted this week by the State Department for Devolution. The provisional results indicate that the county has met the threshold for the next phase of funding.
🔹 The KES 352 million grant will be channeled towards key development projects, enhancing governance, infrastructure, and service delivery at the county level.

The Kenya Devolution Support Programme (KDSP) is a World Bank-funded initiative aimed at strengthening county governance and service delivery.
