Residents of Kitale gathered in large numbers on Friday evening to witness the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, officially marking the start of the festive season in Trans Nzoia County. The event, held at the Kitale main square, featured carols, speeches, and vibrant decorations that set the mood for the holiday season.
Governor George Natembeya, accompanied by First Lady Lilian Natembeya and Deputy Governor Philomena Kapkory, led the celebrations.
